Prosthetics

When a tooth is badly damaged or missing, prosthetics restore its shape and function — a crown, bridge or denture, made to your measurements.

Which solution for which case

A crown covers a weakened or root-treated tooth and protects it from breaking. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by resting on the neighbouring ones. A denture, full or partial, replaces many teeth when a bridge or implant is not possible.

Which suits you depends on the state of the neighbouring teeth and the bone — we discuss it at the consultation, together with the price of each.

What to expect

Usually two to three visits: preparation and impression, a try-in, and the final fitting. In between you wear a temporary, so you are never left without a tooth.
